Apparently MSNBC Anchor Krystal Ball’s Crystal Ball Is In The Shop

Add to the string of debacles at MSNBC the prank call foisted upon the joke of a cable news network by an apparent fan of shock jock Howard Stern.  No, not Baba Booey but a totally fictitious “Staff Sgt. Michael Boyd”.

She breathlessly announced an “exclusive” report from Boyd she said claimed to have witnessed the downing of Malaysia Flight MH17 from the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine.  The embassy it should be pointed out is 342 miles (550.28 kilometers) from the site of the crash in Donetsk.

How much longer can parent company Comcast allow embarrassing on-air disasters?  The fact that a microscopic number of Americans trust them to deliver the news accurately should cause Comcast to consider yanking the plug on its entire operation.
